MARKET ASSISTANT
As a Market Assistant, you would work one (1) of two shifts.
1st Shift: 8:00am - 11:30am
Help set up and unload market items. Make sure the booth looks presentable at all times. Be friendly and out going with customers of the market. Follow the instructions of the Market Manager. Must be able to work with point-of-sale device and cash-handling.
2nd Shift: 11:30am - 3:00pm
Make sure the booth looks presentable at all times. Be friendly and outgoing with customers of the market. Tear down and load market items into the Market Manager’s vehicle. Must be able to work with point-of-sale device and cash-handling.
This job is outdoors, you will experience extreme heat and cold temperatures. You must be able to accommodate for all weather conditions.
HONEY BOTTLER
As a honey bottler, you would have to have your Florida Food Handler’s certification complete. You must be able to follow Florida Food Safety laws and keep your workspace clan and sanitary.
Honey bottlers can work one (1) 5-hour shift per week. Honey Bottlers would be in charge of filling up any pending orders for the coming week or days, or would fill up as many bottles of honey to stock up our office!
MARKET MANAGER
Market Managers are entirely in charge of our market booth.
This position includes set up, tear down, following market rules & guidelines, booth management, process point-of-sale payments and being efficient at cash-handling.
Managers should be friendly and outgoing. It is important to know how to answer honey and beekeeping related questions as our customers ask us those a lot.
This job is outdoors, you will experience extreme heat and cold temperatures. You must be able to accommodate for all weather conditions. As the manager, you may be subject to picking up and returning all marketing items to our office.
Market Options:
South Palafox Market: Every Saturday, 8am - 3:00pm
Sunday Market at Palafox: Every Sunday, 10:30am - 4:30pm
T&W Flea Market: Every Saturday & Sunday, 8am - 3:00pm
All of our positions are independent contract jobs. There is a set rate for each job and bonuses may be given to our market-related job types.
